THE BAPTIST CHURCH WESTBOURNE

 Week of Accompanied Prayer.

Sunday 27th April until Saturday 3rd May 2008

What is it ?
Participants setting aside a week during their busy lives to allow God to be more closely in touch with their daily lives through prayer. Each person commits half an hour a day for a week to meditative / contemplative prayer and a further half hour each day to meet with their trained prayer guide at a mutually convenient time.

Who is it for ?
Everyone is welcome, whatever church or with no particular affiliation. It is an open ecumenical event.

Where will it be Held ?
We will be meeting on Sunday 27th April at 7.00 pm - 8.00 pm. at the Baptist Church. For the rest of the week - Monday to Friday - you will be meeting at the home of Sir Michael and Mrs Briggs, Rectory Close, Westbourne.

On Saturday the 3rd May you will meet together again as a group at 10.00am for our Closing Service. This will be at St Johns The Baptist Westbourne.

Your time for meeting each day with your guide will be allocated on Sunday 11th during the initial meeting.

We will try to arrange home visits if required.

What is the Cost ?
In order to help with the cost of the week we invite you to make a donation of £25.00 or what you feel able to contribute, so please don’t let cost be a barrier
